pp, pregnant again?

FTM. I’m 5 weeks postpartum, had my baby boy at 39 weeks and he passed away shortly after delivery. We started having sex around 3 weeks pp and I haven’t gotten af yet. I took a strip hcg test this morning and saw what I think is a really faint line. Could this be a new pregnancy or left over from our son?

Very sorry for your loss. If you are pregnant congratulations but if you’re not please try to wait until your body heals to get pregnant again is super risky

I would think it would be left over HCG.

Could be a new pregnancy. Your best bet would be to get blood drawn to see if your HCG levels are rising. 
I'm in the same situation. I had my son on July 27th at 39 weeks and he passed. I had my first post partum period on September 24th and got pregnant.  I was only 2 months PP I'm currently 10 weeks and due in July again
