How long did your implantation bleeding last?

I’ve seen it a few times written where women have claimed they had implantation bleeding that they had originally mistaken for a period, later corrected by a BFP. For those of you who experienced this, how long did you have IB for? What made you think it was instead your period? I’ve read that implantation bleeding only lasts from a couple hours up to about 2 days. Did you experience this for longer? Just curious!

The complexity of that question is that many things can cause bleeding in early pregnancy; there is no actual evidence that implantation causes bleeding. It's just become a general catch-all term for bleeding in early pregnancy. So people saying their implantation bleeding lasted X number of days doesn't really mean that it did. They can't guarantee the cause of that bleeding, even if they later get a positive.

Implantation bleeding is rare and extremely hyped up on here! There isn’t enough scientific evidence to prove that implantation causes pain or bleeding. 
Many other reasons for spotting such as 
Age
Weight
Sex
Hormones issues 
Medication 
Stress
Illness
Ovulation 
If it was implantation bleeding it should be extremely light in colour mixed with cm
