So i found out i was pregnant at 3 weeks and 3 days, had no idea as we wasnt trying and i was still 10 or 11 days away from my period but i just had this feeling that something was a little off. Anyway had mild cramping and was checked out with early scans, found out i was having a healthy baby but there was a “bleed” continued being monitored just incase but no worries so eventually stopped and had 12 week scan like normal. My scan was rushed and she focused on just the babies brain and fluid around the back of the neck measurements, she completely ignored me when i asked for her to make sure my area of bleed had gone away. Anyway during the scan i saw an area around the back of the baby which i thought was the bleed, i asked the ultrasound tech to look but instead she said we are finished, gave me my pictures, measurements letter and sent me on my way. Anyway i booked and early gender scan for 15 weeks and 1 day, got to it and i was measuring at 14 weeks and 3 days (4 days behind) but the tech said it was normal as its within a weeks measurement, i was so focused on finding out gender i completely forgot to ask her if she could check the bleed was gone but now looking at my scan pictures im pretty sure i can see another sac which im pretty sure has a baby in there. Is it possible for them to miss twins and just of passed it off as a bleed in the beginning? Ive had this thought since i found out that its twins but at my first ultrasound i obviously saw it wasnt but now im not so sure.

Just to add…the bleed was growing at the same rate and close measurements to the sac my baby is in atm.
