Baby wheezing
Hello!
I have a 3 month old son with no recorded/known health issues. He was born at 39 weeks 5 days, 8lbs. About 2 weeks ago out of completely no where he started wheezing if if he was choking and after some pats on the back he was fine. It was probably 5-6 wheezes, and then he let out crying so I knew his airway wasn’t blocked. He can’t get to anything anyways to block his airway, and he had been sitting in his cousins lap for about 30 minutes just chilling. Over the 2 weeks he has been doing the same spiraticslly but only 2-3 wheezes and I Pat his back and he’s fine. It usually only happens when he is in a sitting up position. My family is telling me they just sometimes get choked up on saliva and it’s normal. I messaged the pediatrician and he said he needs a video to see what I’m describing. I don’t know how I’m supposed to get a video if i am trying to help my son get air. Is this normal? Is this just what saliva going down the wrong wind pipe does? Or could this be reflux/asthma/ etc?… I have acid reflux as well as a lot in my family.
