I had short surge this cycle, am I still ovulating?

Question

I usually have two days of positive opks on my previous two cycles before it went back to low, but this cycle it only lasted for a day. Am I still ovulating or could this be a failed ovulation? Has anyone experienced this before? Is every cycle supposed to be different?

Could be late ovulation or your body trying to ovulate again, if it stays positive I’d maybe try a pregnancy test as hcg can be detected in ovulation tests as well..  happened to me before.

It doesn’t matter how long your highs are once you have an official peak, it makes no difference how long it lasts for.

OPKs don’t guarantee you’ll ovulate. They detect your LH surge which indicates you SHOULD ovulate in the next 12-36 hours. A short LH surge is normal.
