Breastfeeding after NICU

I had my baby at 36 weeks and 1 day, he was in the NICU for just over 2 weeks for jaundice and because he wasn't eating enough. He had to eat a specific amount that increased as his weight went up, if he couldnt finish a bottle, they finished his feeding through a tube. I was pumping throughout our stay but now, we're home and I'm scared to breastfeed incase my baby isn't eating enough. Should I just keep pumping? How long do babies need on the breast? Any tips? I know it's not the biggest issue and I'm lucky he's home and that I'm producing milk, but it's something I'm hoping to try.
