Am I pregnant?

I am currently 6 days late on my period. My period is very regular due to birth control pills. I had a little weird bleeding before my period was supposed to come. BUT I have taken 2 pregnancy tests a few days ago and they were negative.

Answer

A pregnancy test will be accurate 14 days after sex. If you’re taking your birth control normally then you’re likely not pregnant (if you’ve recently taken antibiotics this can make birth control ineffective so just in case keep that in mind).
But it’s normal on birth control to have weird cycles. You can test again if you’d like, but it’s unlikely you’re pregnant if you are taking it properly and haven’t been on antibiotics
