Getting pregnant after miscarriage

I am currently going through a miscarriage and am hoping to try to get pregnant again as soon as I get the green light from my doctor. Because I am an anxious person, I was looking for other people's stories about conceiving after a miscarriage. Did it take a long time? Did you have a successful pregnancy or did you miscarry again?
