Help with 4 month old’s sleep
(He is 18 weeks old)
For the last 3 weeks, my baby has been waking up every 3ish hours at night either to eat or for his pacifier. When he eats, it’s full feedings. The last 3 nights, he’s literally awake every 45 minutes. So every sleep cycle. I feed him as much as he’ll eat during the day, I used to just do eat play sleep but now I offer a second feeding before each nap (which he is usually not interested in)
He had a few weeks in a row of sleeping 6-8 hours at a time. I felt so lucky. But now this. Is there anything I can do to get him to sleep? Can the 4 month regression really last this long? Every time I think we’re in the regression, it just gets worse. He just rolled over for the first time 4 days ago. My husband thinks he’s teething, too. And he’s close to sitting up.
My husband has a 2 hour commute to work each way so although he can try to help me, it’s really my responsibility to handle nights right now. I have family nearby but they do not help me. I just need some advice…
