I've been seeing this for a while, I don't take anything while I'm pregnant, but I'm curious to what others think!?

Medical researcher here. The science behind this claim is weak, and it's only hinted at correlation, not causation.
For example, an old classic study showed that regions that were frequented by ice cream trucks had higher rates of murder. Obviously, the ice cream truck isn't committing the murder, but that's why we can't assume a causal relationship.
For the same reason, we can't claim that Tylonel causes autism. We can only say that there is a potential correlation between the two, and even then, there are some contradicting results.

I too have been seeing it for awhile and it scares me so this pregnancy is medication free. I will ONLY take it if I have a fever or covid

Similar to what the other researcher said I wouldn’t be sweating having taken Tylenol. It is more likely that whatever is causing the NEED to take Tylenol - what is underlying the pain/fever that these moms are experiencing that drives them to take Tylenol? - is the causative agent. Tylenol is basically the only pain relief generally approved for pregnant ladies now, so anything that increases pain/fever would be correlated with Tylenol use exclusively. It says nothing about causation.

See I'm not sure. My mom took Tylenol a lot when she was pregnant with my 2 brothers and they both have autism. So do I. I took Tylenol a lot when I was pregnant with my 2 boys. They are both currently going through testing for autism. It's hard to say honestly. Autism very very likely isn't CAUSED by OTC medicine, it's likely just genetics. I do believe however it's possible it could increase the risk you know? But you should always talk to your doctors, do your own research as well. Make sure you only look at reliable and reputable sources. Just because a group does a study, doesn't't mean it's reliable!

I take medication rarely except for my low dose aspirin but that still scares me. How many times a day did they take the medication though?
