Group B ???

So I’m 36 weeks and 4days I just found out results for group b was positive this is my third baby and have never had this before. I literally feel like gross. I know it’s not an std but out of app appointments that my bf could make it had to be this one and now. I feel he deep down thinks it’s gross or that I have something!!!! Omg  so I know they gotta give u antibiotics while in labor but what does this mean for after pregnancy…..

Nothing absolutely nothing. I've had 5 children my last I tested positive for this. They just gave me antibiotics before she was born and nothing was said after. I'm having my 6th and I could test negative or positive who knows

It’s a NORMAL bacteria women carry in their bodies. I’ve had it for both of my pregnancies and have been with my husband for almost 12 years. Just get the antibiotics at delivery to keep baby safe. It’s not gross or anything to be ashamed about.

I’ve had 4 babies and 3 I tested positive for it. You can have it or not have it at any time and no one would know it’s just not safe for baby but it’s a normal bacteria that women carry.

Literally means NOTHING other than some antibiotics during labor and a few extra checks of baby’s temperature once he or she arrives. Doesn’t mean a damn thing when it comes to your partner…

Super normal bacteria, not at all gross. About 25% of us are carriers, we all get tested because we are all equally likely to be carriers. You will just need antibiotics at delivery to protect baby.
