We had our very first BFP last Saturday after being 3 days late and trying for 16 months; started spotting last night, woke up to mild cramps in the early morning and some mild bleeding. I got worried and took the day off to go to the doctors; went for blood work so we’ll see but I’m not very hopeful. It hasn’t been enough to fill a pad but I’ve passed some clots and a gush of blood so I don’t think that’s normal… my doctor said it could be implantation but my gut feel is that it was a chemical.

TMI : It’s varied from light pink spotting to brown discharge yesterday, to darker red blood this morning on and off all day. One stream of gushing blood, short but still! And brown clumps in a pad near the end of the day. I usually wear tampons so it’s hard to compare to my regular period but yea it just doesn’t feel right :(

Anyone else go through something similar with either outcome?
