So I’ve been stressing over this for a few days now and honestly, my mother isn’t being much of a comfort so here I am for more opinions. My period is 9 days late and I’m sexually actively while on birth control. With the current birth control bill I’m on it’s possible that it could stop or change my period. Yet, I’ve been on this birth control for at least six months now. I’ve been losing weight too (something my mother says she did while pregnant with me). I’ve taken three pregnancy tests and all of them say I’m not pregnant. I’m sure it’s stress (not just from the possible pregnancy) affecting my period and possible my birth control. Anyone’s opinions and similar experiences would be helpful.

I also want to add that I’m 23 years old and have been on the pill since I was 16; just not this specific one. It was changed within the last year due to an ovarian cyst on my left ovary which I know can also affect my period. I’m just a ball of anxiety and stress right now trying to figure this out with everything else going on in my personal life.
