Is it harder to get pregnant with a shorter cycle? Have you gotten pregnant with a short one?

My cycle length is about 24-27 days long. Averaging 27, but sometimes it’s 24-26. Any advice or experiences would be great! I’ve read short follicular phases and short luteal phases can make it hard!

I read that too! I have around 26-27 day cycles and a 9-10 day luteal phase. Usually I’d ovulate around CD16. My SO and I weren’t actively trying for a baby, but I did end up pregnant and I’m currently 30w! The cycle I conceived on I ovulated CD20 and got my positive on 8dpo. It makes it harder because there’s not nearly as much time for the embryo to implant with a short luteal phase as opposed to someone with a normal luteal phase. Now I’m not sure if it was luck for us, but we did successfully get pregnant without medical intervention!

So a short cycle alone wouldn't be a problem. I had a 26 day cycle and got pregnant twice. It's the luteal phase that matters. If it's shorter than 10 days that would be considered a short luteal phase and could be a problem for implantation. Usually with a short cycle you'd ovulate a little earlier. So with a 26 day cycle you'd ovulate around cycle day 10 or 12. Giving you a 12 to 14 day luteal phase.

I’ve been wondering the same! ppl say all the time that ovulation usually happens right down the middle, but I also have 26 day cycles and I usually ovulate around cycle days 15 or 16.. so weird but fingers crossed this is our month 🤞🏽 got my peak on the 6th so I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday
