What procedure did you have to induce labor?

I have to have an induction , I’ve learned there’s the gel, ballon catheter, artificial water breaking and oxytocin . 
Which one did you have and what’s your experience with it ?

Cervidil and pitocin. Pitocin was hell on earth. Then I had an emergency c section

I’ve been induced twice. They tried cervidil one time & ive had the seaweed sticks both times & then they’ve had to break my water both times as well.

I got Cervadil and Pitocin, then waters broken. My induction failed. I was in labor for 46 hours, only dilated from 1-3cm externally, 1 cm internally at the time of my C-section.  The was maxed on pitocin. Cord was around his neck and he wouldn’t drop, so he wasn’t putting pressure on my cervix.

I had cervadil, then Foley balloon, then pitocin. They attempted to break my bag of waters but the amniotic sac was literally too strong for them to break it. Induction was hell on earth and I'll never do it again.

Technically I went into labor on my own, but needed to a foley balloon and cervidil to dilate. It wasn’t technically an induction but it was an induction? Idk. 
Regardless, my experience was fine. It was pretty painless and did the job well. It just felt like I was walking around with a giant tampon in. They told me the balloon would take about 12-24 hours to dilate me to a 4 and then they would start pitocin if my contraction didn’t get stronger. I went from 0cm to 6cm in about 4 hours and about 4 hours after that my baby was born.

I had a foley balloon inserted first, then started pitocin. When the balloon came out they broke my water. I had to use a peanut ball to finish dilating, then had to move around in different positions to get baby's head around part of my cervix that he was stuck on. From the start of the foley balloon to holding my son was 5 hours. The balloon was fine, but pitocin is awful. I really hope any future babies I have can come on their own time!

I had cervidil first then the balloon catheter, after that I dilated all the way to a 9 then they pushed my cervix behind my daughters head then was ready to push. Also I was on Pitocin as well. I had the epidural but I felt a load of pressure still every contraction. I could feel her head being pushed down with each one.

I had pitocin and it was horrible, that was my first live birth though so I can’t really compare what labor would have been like without. All I know is it was hell and I really hope I don’t have to do that again
