My daughter is 16 months and for the last 6 weeks has had pretty significant separation anxiety. I know a little is normal, but my husband can’t even hold her if I am in the room. She will scream and cry for me. He is a little hurt by it but understands. She wants to be held and have my attention every waking moment. My mom watches her a few hours per week while I work and she cries for me even though I did a proper quick “goodbye I’ll see you in a little” she looks around the house for me and has to be distracted constantly.

Anyways is that severity normal and how long does it last? I am 5 months pregnant, so my body HURTS day after day of this 😅 don’t say years please….
