Questions/tests to ask for for recurrent miscarriages?

Hi ladies! I have recently had my 2nd miscarriage in a row, and am scheduled to see my doctor in a few weeks for a follow up. I am looking for advice that y’all may have on what specific tests to ask for (vitamin D, progesterone, diseases/disorders, ect) that may give me some answers. i am also hoping to get some insight from y’all about what may have helped you stay pregnant after recurrent miscarriages. 
I have no idea where to start with asking for certain levels to be checked, so hearing your experience would be a big help too!

You would see a fertility specialist or reproductive endocrinologist to run a recurrent loss panel.

My OB isn't worried until it's been 3 in a row but it's definitely good to get testing just in case since your provider is willing. I had a missed miscarriage in February and a chemical pregnancy (miscarriage before 5 weeks) in June. I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant. My OB wasn't worried after the two in a row, maybe because I do have one child (I did have a missed miscarriage before having him). My OB said miscarriages are probably more like 50% of pregnancies, it's just not documented as that since some go unnoticed, they just think their period is a little late. So idk if that gives you any hope. My OB did have me do oral progesterone this time just in case, my progesterone labs have always been good but it helped me feel less anxious this time that at least I was doing something and it won't hurt you if you don't actually need it. But that might be something you can ask is to get a prescription now so once you get a positive pregnancy test, you have it and can start right away.

I’ve had two miscarriages, my friend had a handful and my aunt had 6. All found out we needed progesterone supplements as soon as we found out we are pregnant. We all have gone on to have healthy pregnancies.

After my second miscarriage I went to a reproductive endocrinologist who did a battery of tests. Your OB probably won't do any.
