I am 41 and a mother of 4 children. I found out that I had 3 fibroids during my last pregnancy. Last year I begin to suffer from long heavy menstrual cycles that would last 15 plus days every month. My doctor found out that the fibroids had multiplied and I had over 17 in my uterus. Being a divorced mom I didn’t want to agree to a hysterectomy because I knew my heart still desired a son. I had the procedure over a year ago and everything went well. My 90 day follow up visit showed that 12 of the problematic fibroids were gone and the others were dying out. I’m concerned with not being able to conceive another child or carry full term. Are there any success stories out there. I need a little encouragement?
