Ok this is really embarrassing, I’ve never had this happen but we just noticed have maggots in our pantry. It is so disgusting. I don’t know what to do to get rid of them. We keep food in our pantry sealed, if we have like an open bag of chips we don’t keep them in the pantry. Pantry is the only place we’ve noticed this problem

We have kind of a lot of food in our pantry, mainly canned food or boxed pasta, etc. It is going to be a big task if I have to go through it all so I am hoping to avoid that but I’m afraid that’s what needs to be done.

Do you guys know what I can do to fix this problem/avoid it from happening in the future?

EDIT: they’re not maggots, they’re pantry moths. Thank you to the person who mentioned that. We’ve seen 2 so far but sure there’s more, but going to deal with them right away. Thank you all for the feedback, I definitely was going to clean it, I don’t really know why i asked, I guess I was wondering if there was a deterrent I could use to try and help get rid of them too
