I started taking birth control in August...was on a combination pill for two months the. Tried the mini pill for a month in October but symptoms were not any better so went back in my combo pill. The combo pill I was taking was the generic alesse 21 and didnt have any breakthrough bleeding. Recently I got the brand name alesse and started it in December and I have been having consistent breakthrough bleeding for the past week or so...i am nearing the end of my pack. Is this normal? Or is this something to worry about. My lower back has also been hurting.
