Hi, I need some advice from other women

So, for the last year or so I’ve had trouble with having sex mainly because “it” won’t fit. And by that I mean it can’t even go in, not that it went in a few inches and couldn’t go further. There was only one time where it did manage to go in but 2-3 inches in, it felt really uncomfortable with a pinching sort of pain, and it felt as if there was a wall blocking it from going anywhere further. But the odd thing is I’ve had sex roughly 3-4 years before this problem came up. I bought dilators and tried the smallest one today, and surprisingly it fully went in without major discomfort, but taking it out did feel a bit uncomfortable. A few minutes later, it became hard to put it in fully because it felt as if I had tightened up so I was feeling more discomfort when pushing it in than I did the first few times. It also felt a lot tighter when I had to take it out.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It’s randomly become an issue for me in the last year and I’ve already tried lube etc it’s just physically hard

I’ve also been to the doctors, and she said everything seemed fine and basically shut me down when I suggested dilators so I had to buy them myself
