Clear blue also sucks,  but any off brand red dye should be good. Or a digital

I love first response tests. I got really good at only testing when my period was late late… like by two days and I had no pms symptoms. Otherwise I’ll order pregmate strips from target/Amazon/Walmart, the cheapies. 
But to me the pink dye are unmistakable. Like if you have to sit and stare at it and tweak it it’s probably negative… but with first response the evap lines aren’t as common. Like I’ve gone back and looked at a negative test like 5 hours later and there wasn’t an evap. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have used these cheap ones from Amazon the last year and a half. It detected my chemical pregnancy, an hour after getting a faint line on these I had my hcg drawn and it was 6, so it is good at detecting early and I've never had an indent. Any time I wondered if there was a faint line, I was pregnant (1 missed miscarriage, 1 chemical and currently pregnant, all tested with these the last 1.5 years).
