I have been with my SO for over 3 years. In all that time, he has never ONCE bought me or my kids birthday/Christmas gifts. He would give me money to buy the kids gifts and he buys me things when I need them but I have never received anything on my birthday, Christmas or our anniversary. I go out of my way to buy him nice gifts etc but never get anything in return. We both work at a hospital and this year he decided to buy things from the angel tree and contribute to a family in need which I'm fine with, I helped as well. Then I found out he bought a sentimental present for his BOSS (has never bought anything for anyone in his workplace before) and he even wrapped it and is waiting to give it to her on Christmas, yet he still can't be bothered to get me anything. Idc that he doesn't get me gifts cuz I'm used to it, but I don't see why everyone else deserves stuff for Christmas and I'm left with nothing for Christmas. So do I have a right to be irritated?
