Who's should I have asked for help and who is in the wrong?
Story:
I have an autoimmune disease that requires me to get rest. I work from home 6AM-3 PM and watch my 3-year-old. Work can be stressful at times, especially when taking care of a toddler.
My husband had a work Christmas lunch during his 9-5 work hrs Friday. He had told me weeks leading up to this party that he was coming straight home after the lunch was over (4:30PM). He told me at 4:45 PM that he was going to hang out for 30 more minutes with coworkers(lawyers) to rub elbows......he messaged throughout the night and even called just to say he was going to hang out a little bit longer. 8:30 pm rolls around.. At this point, I am tired. No breather and little lady is wide awake. I message my husband saying, "So you realize that I've been here at home working, cleaning and watching your daughter all day since 830 am by myself with no help or relief Do you understand how stressful that is for me and inconsiderate that is of you , I need a breather". This message pissed him off and caused him to come straight home yelling at me......last thing I wanted to deal with . To end the argument, he basically said I should have called my parents to come help if I needed help. The reason I never did that is because he kept sending me messages throughout the day, saying he was heading home soon. I feel as though my husband should have been willing to come home to give me a break vs. telling me that I should have called my parents. His party had been over for 4 hrs.
Who's should I have asked for help And who is in the wrong?
