Someone recently asked about the balloon induction method, and I happen to have a photo of the balloon. I didn't find it all that uncomfortable personally. It's to help you dilate faster. Mine fell out when I went to the bathroom to pee at around 5cm and I believe it's around 6cm it'll fall out or they'll take it out.

I did end up with c-section because my daughters head was too crooked in the birth canal and I wasn't progressing and felt the urge to poop, aka, the urge to push a baby out.
