I am 36 weeks pregnant with my third baby (both vaginal deliveries, 1st born premature at 35 weeks after induction, second born 39.5 weeks after induction) and yesterday I caught a faint period smell when I went to the bathroom. I chalked it up to someone having disposed of a tampon or pad in the bathroom trashcan at the office. Now today, every time I've used the restroom, I most certainly am smelling a stronger scent of blood and a slight fishy odor. No blood or discharge from my vagina and none in my urine, either. I have felt a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen and right lower back with what feels like the baby moving (and per my last ultrasound a few days ago he is head down, in position for eviction 😅). Should I be concerned or am I overreacting? Did anyone else experience this? My ob will start checking for dilation end of next week (not all providers do an internal at checkup, so I didn't have one this past week).
