11 DPO and Period Expected Tomorrow

I have none of my typical PMS symptoms and my cycle is pretty regular as far as timing and symptoms so I took a test this morning (FRER) and it was negative. Is it even possible to have a neg on one of those that close to your period and go on to have a positive or am I really out? It’s been a long year.
