No idea what price point you consider an arm and a leg. 
But we had both a uppababy vista and a mountain buggy duet. Hated the vista as a double, loved the mountain buggy duet. They are the wame width. So doors wasn't a problem. 
Bought it used for like 1/5 of the new price.

Mockingbird is great!!  It was $600ish!  I can’t remember, but def under $700. Got it last year and we love it.
