Just found out I’m pregnant. My goal with this baby is to breastfeed. I have an October 2021 baby who was formula fed and I don’t qualify for WIC or food assistance so it all came out of pocket which was expensive and it was hard to find at times.

Anyway, my question is about breastfeeding and taking Adderall. I didn’t even ask with my first baby because I figured my doctors would say no to breastfeeding while on Adderall but now I am curious if anyone’s done it and how it’s turned out for the baby. I did some bare minimum googling and it said that only trace amounts, barely detectable, amounts of Adderall have appeared in infants blood who breastfeed from parents on Adderall. What have your doctors said about it? Is anyone successfully breastfeeding while taking Adderall or any stimulant?
