How long after implantation souls a test be positive?

Question

So I’m 12dpo , I’ve had a negative test this morning mild cramps and super grumpy. I know these are also pms symptoms.
How long after would a test be reliable I know 12days most people do get a positive result but I have super irregular periods and one app says test today which I did and negative and one says test in another 20days?
Looking for hope that there could still be a chance for a positive test and successful pregnancy this month.

If you implant a test would be positive 2-4 days later depending on the level of HCG. It doubles every 2 days. Testing negative at 12dpo does not mean you are not pregnant, you still could be. I can see why you would be confused. Especially if one app is saying 20 days as you would not have ovulated yet for it to take that long to check.
