Just for fun…when do you all priotize changing the diaper for your newborn

New mommas, experienced mommas, when do you prioritize a diaper change? Obviously we change them when they need it regardless, but what is your routine? I know there is no “right” way, and I’ve been trying each to see which works best for baby and I, but I want to see what the majority says!

As soon as possible, preferably before nursing as they both mist of the time fell asleep.

At night, I change diapers between breasts. She screams the house down if she doesn’t get fed as soon as she wakes up, and falls asleep on the second side, so changing in between makes the most sense.With my first daughter, I changed after feeding, because she always pooped while eating.

When they’re little I would do diapers after because sometimes he’s poop after eating lol. Otherwise before especially at night, because changing the diaper after feeding can wake them up.

At night, always before feeding or halfway through feeding. During the day, typically after feeding because I would forget to check her daiper until while I fed her

Depends, during the day I’d change him when he needed it. At night I’d always change him before feeding so I could lay him back down right away. He did end up pooping a lot while I was feeding him so I’d just take a break and change him and then finish feeding him
