I had spotting like that from weeks 5 to 8. It is fairly common in early pregnancy. Often caused by embryo burrowing deeper into the uterine lining.

It could honestly just be irritated cervix, if you had sex or penetration masturbation, or a cervical exam or a trans vaginal ultrasound.
It could also just be old blood from 🤷🏻‍♀️ anything. If you’re concerned you should just call your doctor and have them check it out. It’s not bright red so it could just be normal discharge.
Discharge gets weird in pregnancy. It’ll be okay 💛

I had this at 6 weeks and it ended up being a yeast infection. I’ve been told you can spot from uterus growing or irritated cervix. The only way to know is get a pelvic exam and ultrasound. I’m now 9 weeks and everything is fine
