I had to play around with a few birth control methods since August. I started with the generic alysena 21 and got really bad yeast as it dried me out...so tried the mini pill after 2 months. Kept having breakthrough bleeding on the mini pill so switched back to the combo pill in November and was fine this time. But this December I took the brand name alesse 21 and I started getting light breakthrough bleeding mid way through the pack and it has consistently gotten heavier with cramps leading up to my last day of the active pills. I took my last active pill this past Saturday and now I think I have my period. Should I continue with wth same pack after this week? Is this breakthrough bleeding normal? I will be talking to my doctor today or tomorrow but wanted to get some input on others who may have experienced this.
