My husband doesn’t understand how overstimulating it can be taking care of a toddler all day. He gets his feelings hurt when I don’t want him touching me after he gets home from work. I just get so touched out during the day from my toddler and I don’t feel like having my husband touching all over me. I have tried talking to him about it but he just says, “That’s not fair to me. I’ve been at work all day and I just want to love on my wife when I get home.” I get where he’s coming from, but I mentally and physically can’t handle it. And what makes it worse is that my he loves to pick on me constantly. So every time he’s around me he is licking, poking and tickling me even after I told him to stop. I just feel stuck in this loop of my husband getting his feelings hurt and me feeling like the bad guy.
