Teething

Hannah

FTM here👋🏻

So we're on the verge of popping our first tooth finally🥳 its been a loooonnnggg time coming! DS is now 8 months old and has been teething on and off since 3 months! This mama is so over teething - as I'm sure he is 🤦🏼‍♀

I can literally see his bottom tooth just sitting under the gum (can see the white little tip just sat there). He's got flushed cheeks, he's unsettled (especially on an evening), He's biting EVERYTHING (including my chin🤦🏼‍♀😭) and the amount of dribble this child is producing is crazy - i feel like hes leaving a little trail wherever he goes 😂.

How long did it take for that first tooth to finally push through? I first noticed the little white tip 4 days ago and there hasnt seemed to be much movement and its still not broken through yet🤷🏼‍♀

My daughter was like this, it would take her a week or more for a tooth to be fully out once I could see it, after days of being in pain and fussy before that, and most of them would be in and out for a few days. Her two year molars took almost a month each to be fully out. She got her first tooth around 8 months and then she got 4 more in the next 6 weeks.

We used Mommy’s Bliss Little Gums for her especially before bed when she was in the most pain, it’s good because it doesn’t have any numbing agents just stuff to soothe like chamomile, ginger, fennel, vanilla, lavender and passion flower, similar ingredients to gripe water. And Tylenol or Motrin as needed. My 3 mo son is teething now and in addition to the Little Gums I have been using Boiron Camilia as well and it definitely helps him.
