Has anyone been through this?

My 3 week old was use to drinking 3.5 oz each feeding and now he bearly drinks 2 oz (it started yesterday morning) and slept most of the day yesterday when he was active and curious at least once a day... is this normal?... also he started coughing a little from time to time (we are taking him to the pediatrician today for that) just wondering if anyone had something similar happen to their baby

My daughter started falling asleep at the bottle around that age and didn't drink as much. Turns out she had 3 ties that needed to be fixed. Her suck was very weak which took her a lot of effort to drink and therefore fell asleep. Look into tongue and lip ties, maybe you'll find some symptoms that relate. You can get baby checked for ties at a pediatric dentist.

Thank you i will look into that as well because he does that too, he falls asleep while feeding

Maybe it's a little cold. Nothing to be concerned about unless it continues for a longer period.My now four month old is impossible to figure out. Feedings always go up and down.

My youngest has been eating very little the past few days. Today she had spit up with snot in it, so despite not acting very different she clearly has a pretry annoying cold 🙈

Really? Oh thank God i was getting really worried he wasn't feeding as much.
