Ok so this is really random but I’m starting to get desperate for help.

The area I’ve circled on this picture is where I’ve had pain for over a year now that has progressively gotten worse. The pain feels like it’s almost under my left shoulder blade and really deep. It sort of stems up my neck too.

I have seen a chiropractor, sports massage therapist, and most recently, and orthopedic doctor.

I saw a shoulder specialist, he did an X-ray, ordered me to do 6 weeks of physical therapy, and prescribed me anti-inflammatorys and muscle relaxers.

I did 6 weeks of PT combined with dry needling, it did nothing. I took the medication, didn’t help at all.

At my follow up appointment my shoulder specialist ordered an MRI and referred me to a neck specialist as he thinks it’s my neck…

I see the neck (spine) specialist. He doesn’t think it’s my neck, he really isn’t sure and ordered an EMG for my arm as occasionally I’ll have tingling/numbness in my left hand. The EMG is scheduled for this Friday, but the days are getting long with how bad this pain is.

The pain in the past 48 hours has gotten progressively worse and I’m waiting on a call back from the dr to give tips on what to do. I should also mention, heat/ice does nothing.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? It’s worrying me that I’m getting passed along to different doctors and they can’t figure out the source of the problem. But really this pain is starting to really impact my life.
