No. Santa is just a character in my home. We don't teach that he's a real person.
I personally would find it inappropriate to allow my child to ask a stranger for a list of things she wants him to bring her as presents.
I most definitely would never be putting my kids on a strange man's lap to have a picture taken either but that's just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I find those photos with kids and Santa oddly creepy. It's not a thing here, so it's not something Im used to seeing other than on the internet.

Not doing the whole Santa thing. It’s annoying when older people insist that my baby needs a picture with Santa. I said no, we are focusing on Jesus during Christmas.

Honestly, when I was younger i felt so uncomfortable sitting on the random man’s lap and being told I had to smile for a picture, so now I don’t take my son. We watch movies about Santa and see him when he goes by on the fire truck but I think imma wait till he’s old enough to express if he wants to go and is comfortable with it.

I don’t teach my children to believe in the Santa lie… the way I see it, if I can’t be honest with them on the small things. How the hell would they trust me on the big things…? 
Open and honest with my children is important to me and my relationship with them. Holidays can be just as special and fun without telling them lies.
