Last week I ended up in hospital because my heart was beating at 140bpm and my temp wouldn’t go down with paracetamol. The ambulance took me to a different hospital (not the same one that I am registered at for baby). When I got there I was eventually diagnosed with pneumonia and flu. They gave me antibiotics intravenously etc and I started to feel better. At no point did they check the baby etc. I mean I’ve felt her move since but should they not have checked up on the baby? Should I contact my midwife about it? The only reason I ask is because obviously my heartbeat was very high and I didn’t know if that would affect the baby at all. X x
