Another baby!??

Question

My hubs and I were talking tonight about when we were going to give our son a sibling. I was thinking in about a year and a half to two years and he came right out and said that he wouldn't be upset if I were to get pregnant now! He did have a glass of wine or two haha but I started thinking about it and it got me excited! Our son is only 5 months old! Anyone have babies close in age? Were you trying or not? How is it? I imagine it is hard!! I love the idea of have my babies be so close.

My first two are 26 months apart. Then second and third are 20 months apart and now the third and 4th will be 18 months apart. All planned. I've wanted to get the age gaps smaller. I love them being so close together! It's hard at times but I wouldn't change it!

My husband and his brother are 18 months apart, and they have been a match made in hell since the beginning, lol. My MIL always talks about how miserable she was, because she was never able to dote DH with the attention he deserved BC BIL was an impossible child (and still is!).

On the flip side, aside from my twin brother and I, our sisters are five and ten years younger. That has been a blessing and a curse in many ways.

These are the exact reasons as to why we want to shoot for 2-3 years apart! :)

My oldest sister and oldest brother are 17 months apart. My sister was 8 months old when my mom got pregnant with my brother. Then, my aunt had a baby in July 2013 and another baby in October 2014 - making her babies 15 months apart! Lastly, my other sister has a 3 year old  girl and a 15 month old boy. She's having another baby girl in May 2016, making her boy and youngest girl 20 months apart. I honesty love the idea of close in age kids, but it really honestly depends on if the parents are up for it! :)

We really wanted our kids close (16-18 months) but I breastfed for a year and never got my period (or ovulated) until I stopped nursing. We are ttc #2 starting this month and my dd is 14 months. As she gets a little older I'm happy it worked out that our kids won't be as close as we originally thought. I'm hoping they will be about 2-2.5 yrs apart.

3 girls on my Facebook all got pregnant again within 4 months of having their first child, now they all have like 1 year olds and 1 month olds, to me that's CRAZY. I have a 14 month old and I would LOVE to get pregnant again soon (because our daughter would be almost/over 2 by the time the baby was born), but for me personally it's not a good choice to make. I'm going back to school in February, we're going to be moving in the fall and I'd like to have a good job, a house and to at least be engaged by the time we decide to have baby #2.

It is hard when they're close in age. I have twins, so I know what it's like. My sister had kids 18mo apart, and it was hard, and the oldest one got less time with the parents, which was sad because he was still a baby himself.

My children are 17 months apart... They're 7 1/2 and 6.... I hated it at first but I love it now. They're inseparable. The only thing that worries me is when I'm able to conceive again....having to have another one to keep the baby company. Lol

My 2 children are 3 almost 4 years apart but my sister in law has a 4 yr old 3 yrld 1 yr old and a 2 month old I knew she struggles a bit but she's an amazing mom. I would have loved to have mine close but I just wasnt able to and now my youngest is turning 3 and I am still trying for # 3. But I'd say go for it it's awsome seeing the bond between siblings likenthat.
