At 33 weeks with my first pregnancy (last week) I started to feel some period like pain that I ignored and thought it’s just braxton hicks or my baby’s dropping. Upon doctor’s appointment next morning, I got to know that my cervix length is shortening and tge cervix was very soft. I was getting into preterm labor. I got hospitalized for observation and that same night at 8 PM I started having strong contactions. The doctors immediately handled the situation and they were able to pause my labor because internal os was still closed. Now I’m on strict bed rest because my baby’s head is just 1 finger away and the cervix is quite soft. 34 weeks will be completed tomorrow and I’m hoping to complete 37 weeks at least !!! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
