My roommate makes it seem like it’s only her place and I’m just a guest even though we split all the bills in half. It’s only our house when it’s time to buy something or time to clean. When we’re out in public it’s alway “my house” or when she wants to bring everyone over or when she impulse buys it’s always because it’s her house and then she catches herself. She buys massive items and just leaves them in the living room waiting for me to take them downstairs because she can’t carry them downstairs. I can’t watch tv once she goes to bed because she can hear the tv and I can’t have a girlfriend sleepover unless her approval because she gets up and wants to watch tv and coffee without being bothered. Whenever I cook she takes over because she feels like I can’t cook right even though it would be food for my boyfriend. I try to eat healthy so I buy healthy food and she tells people I don’t buy food and laughs to make it a joke but it’s because she doesn’t eat the same things as me. I like her but I’m starting to think I’m better off living with my boyfriend. How did you guys know when it was time to move out from your roommate?
