My December 18th baby born December 9th 💖

Contractions started at 4:45 pm December 8th about 3-5 mins apart for over an hour so went to the hospital (second baby) and got sent home… I had a cervical check earlier that day so they thought I was in false labor. I didn’t feel right going home but felt pressured to so I did. Of course they started feeling more intense by the time I got home. Went back an hour and a half later in terrible pain. I was 6 cm so they kept me. Asked for an epidural asap but they were “busy” while my nurse took her sweet time prepping my IV (HOW DOES IT TAKE 45 MINS TO PLACE AN IV) while I watched her shoo the anesthesiologist to go do someone else. I wanted to cry knowing he was ready to place it but she wasn’t… My contractions at this point made me dry heave while feeling like my baby was trying to come out at the same time, had the sweats and felt like I was passing out. I was begging for an epidural for an hour by the time I finally got one. Right when they finished they checked me and I was 9 cm. NO SHIT. Finally got some relief and was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my experience. She was born after about 5 pushes at 2:01 am and I’m beyond in love with my sweet girl.

Looks completely different from my first who looks like me; she looks like her daddy’s twin ❤️
