Am I worried for nothing?

My husband take sour toddler on drives each night because it’s the only way he can get him to sleep I guess. 
He showed me in person he drives a loop around where our Walmart is. Been looking at the find my app on iPhone to see when he gets back but the past 2 nights I’ve looked he goes straight to the Walmart parking lot and just sits there. 
What could he be doing? Our kid only sleeps in the car when it’s moving but he’s just parked there.

Well if he’s not Xmas shopping maybe he’s meeting someone there if you know what I mean. Do you have another car? Or get an Uber and follow him or have a friend come and get you. Might as well find out. You are never going to get an answer from us.

I would quite literally say “why were you just sitting in the parking lot for 40 minutes but tell me you were driving around? Make it make sense please” and then either watch him squirm to come up with a lie or he will tell you the truth and you’ll have to believe him. I mean, he knows you can see his location right? Communication can be so easy if you are just open and up front with each other.

If your child can only sleep in the car is moving then you need to find another way either get a stroller that he can walk around with the child at night or push around the house. Because you need to get that child out of that habit before you literally have a 14-year-old who can only sleep in vehicles. You need to become an FBI agent go through his phone and find out which person he's meeting up so you can go speak to a lawyer.

Be careful. You just might create problems where there are none. Either you trust your husband or you don't. Would it be possible that he's trying to give you a break? Has he given you an actual reason to check up on him like that? You're playing with fire.

Ask him. And how are you tracking his location without him knowing? Did you go on his phone to allow tracking? This just screams “I don’t trust my husband” in which case, you need to either commit to therapy together, or split. This isn’t healthy. Tracking people’s location isn’t healthy. Also, if his phone is off, if he loses connection, etc, it will freeze in the last known location.

Is it possible the toddler falls asleep on the way there and he parks just to get some quiet alone time, but doesn’t tell you because he thinks you’d want him coming right home instead?

Has anyone considered that sometimes location tracking apps are lagging 😵‍💫. My husband will ask me sometimes if I'm ok because I tell him I'm going somewhere, but the location doesn't change or stay "stuck" at one spot.
