How many pizzas to get ?

How many pizzas should we order for our sons daycare ? We told them we would buy tha staff lunch one day next week and they told us they have about 30-40 people. My husband and I don’t eat pizza so we have no idea how many to get for that amount of people.

I just ordered pizza for 18 students and 3 teachers. Got 3 large ones and 4 packs of breadsticks. If it's mostly children, go based on that.

Large have like 10. But if it’s Costco pizza it’s like 12 pieces for 10$ pizza !

How many slices are in each large pizza ? I want them all to have at least 2 slices if they want

Large pizza has on average 10 slices. I'd says 8-10 pizzas.

Wherever you’re ordering the pizza from, ask them how many people their largest pizza size feeds. And then order enough to cover 40 people.

You definitely should call wherever you're ordering pizza from and ask how many slices are in their XL box. Adults would usually eat 2 slices so also take that into account.

39-40 kids? When we get pizza for our sparks troop (5ish years old) they can eat about 2 slices each and usually prefer just cheese.
