BFP 14dpo… but spotting?

Question

I’ve had a faint positive for 3 days, and been spotting for 2. Dr called me in for blood test, but I’m curious if anyone else has had something similar happen? 
I think it may be a chemical pregnancy, I didn’t bleed during my pregnancy with my daughter.

I spotted when I should have gotten my period. It was very confusing lol but everything is good.

If these are the first response strips, these tests are HORRIBLE. I kept getting lines just like this that weren’t getting darker so I got my boyfriend to use one and his had a line too 
This was his test

So I would definitely use a different brand to confirm.

i had spotting at 17-18 dpo and everything was okay x i think its normal

I got a positive and had spotting for 3 days. Turns out it was implantation. As long as numbers are doubling, you’re good
