Should I test?

I'm a few days late on my period, but I was sick for like 2 weeks in the middle of my cycle. Should I assume that being sick delayed my period or should I take a pregnancy test? I just hate taking them, seeing negative, then getting my period, it's tough.

I would wait a few more days, unfortunately our bodies are all different and every little thing can delay AF especially being sick and certain medications can throw our ph off but I wish you the best of luck. I’m still playing the waiting game and trying to have hope even though deep inside Ik I’m not pregnant it’s hard to think about the negative tests😔
