Should I do ivf after 4 miscarriages?

I’m 26 and my SO is 51. I’ve had 4 miscarriages in the past year all before 6 weeks. (Last miscarriage was very traumatizing painful and I needed a D&C because I had a huge subchorionic hematoma) naturally conceived (I have pcos too) but I really want the best possible next chance my heart and body can’t take much more loss. I know ivf isn’t guaranteed either. Do you think I should go for ivf?

Probably depends on why you miscarried. If they were due to trisomy or other chromosomal issues, IVF with pre-transfer testing would be super helpful.

I would  talk with your doctor. Depending on the reason for miscarriage though, IVF might not be your best next option.

I think if you’re questioning it, it would hurt to look into it. See your plan, tests, and talking with a fertility specialist. I have had 6 miscarriages all due to genetic issues from my husband. It’s beneficial for us, but I really want a natural pregnancy and I can handle my well being fine.

Have you talked to a fertility specialist? That’s your best bet, IVF is very expensive as you know. I’d get in contact with a specialist to discuss what your next steps should be
