Vulvar melanoma?

I just noticed a dark spot on my labia minora while I was showering/shaving and I have never seen it before. It’s black and oval and kind doesn’t have distinct edges. I’m worried it may be something serious. I made an appointment but can’t get in until 4 days from now. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Im currently going thru the same thing, i first thought it could be hpv warts and went to get it checked test came back negative. And she said it was normal and nothing bad. Well im now worried because they havent gone away and reading it could be vaginal cancer im defenitely making an appt tomorrow. Plss tell me what they tell you when you get it checked
