I forgot to change my pad before I went to bed the second day of my period (changed my pad that day 2 times) and woke up with an extremely full pad that smelled so bad and thought what if I got TSS… I know you get it from most commonly tampons but don’t know how it would be different because… TMI but my pad was full and wet and stuck directly to my lips when I woke up and I think it was last changed 12 hours before but it was so full. I then washed my around my lips and changed my pad but got scared what if bacteria got pushed in while I was washing my lips (from the outside). I feel so bad for falling asleep I really was going to change my pad. Now I’m scared of TSS. How will I know if I have it so I can take myself to the ER?
